Small hand towel in traditional Norwegian pattern.
The designer Unn Søiland made history in the 1950's designing new hand knit patterns using bright colours, this was very unusual in its day. The Marius design later became a Norwegian icon becoming the most hand knitted pattern of the last 65 years.
These lovely patterns are now being produced in Sweden and are represented in both runners and kitchen towels in a range of light and dark colour combinations.
