Hello. My name is Lou Renfree and I have been sourcing and selling 'lovely things' since 2003 when I opened my first shop, called Chalet, in the Derbyshire Peak District town of Bakewell.
My inspiration has always been the relaxed and cosy style of the Alpine Chalet together with Modern Rustic living and home comforts which are often inspired by nature and the great outdoors.
I have a back ground in visual merchandising or 'window dressing' as it was once called and that has always been at the heart of what I do and what inspires me to help you create a little slice of alpine living wherever you may live.
